I don’t remember being taught to draw. My parents both drew for a living, so I thought it was as natural as writing. I watched them draw, and they gave me paper and pencils to keep me quiet when they were working. Later, when I went to school, I was told drawing was not as important as reading and writing. It would never get me a well paid job. When I told my parents they laughed. But they said reading and writing were important too. Now I draw and teach for a living. I’ll never be rich doing either. But I enjoy doing both.
You can see what I do here.
